Rabbi Dov Peretz Elkins is a recipient of the National Jewish Book Award, and has written, edited, and translated more than 35 books. He received rabbinic ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary, and also holds an M.H.L. and a doctorate in counseling and humanistic education. He has written and has lectured internationally. Rabbi Elkins and his wife, Maxine, reside in Princeton, New Jersey. Their six children and eleven grandchildren live in Los Angeles, Israel, Cleveland, and New York.
