Geula Twersky
Geula Twersky holds an MS in Judaic Studies from The Bernard Revel Graduate School of Yeshiva University, (1991), and an MA in Bible from Bar Ilan University, (2014). Geula has contributed numerous articles in a variety of scholarly Bible journals and is the author of Song of Riddles: Deciphering the Song of Songs, (Gefen, 2018), which was nominated as a candidate for the 2020 Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature. In addition to her work in Torah scholarship, Geula is also an award-winning Judaic fine artist. Geula was the recipient of Israel’s highest award for excellence in art, (2007). She has exhibited her work in Israel’s Knesset, Ministry of Absorption, and in numerous other international venues. Geula’s background in the fine arts has profoundly influenced her unique approach to interpreting Torah poetry.
